One year old female Indian calico cat.

Oreo is a vividly-coloured calico cat who bears a strikingly resemblance to Ivy, another cat previously boarded with us. She is an outdoor cat with a friendly and playful temperament and is the mother of Babushka & Mini. Oreo has delivered six kittens in two litters despite being just over a year old. We were surprised to learn this as she is quite tiny, even for her age. Her guardian intended to keep her for boarding with us for around a week. Oreo required post-neutering care as there are other cats in her building who might attack. Cats who are not supervised also tend to expose the surgical wound by licking which increases the likelihood of infection.
Oreo was healing well from the operation, but an old bite would near her tail got infected and an abscess started forming. We noticed the abnormality before it could swell too much and Oreo got timely medical care. Unfortunately, she was also suffering from anemia which required daily doses of medicines and regular doctor visits. Thanks to the tender loving care of her guardian who made sure that she didn't even miss even one dose, Oreo made a full recovery even though it took around two months. All's well that ends well!
